Airman from Juneau dies in noncombat Afghanistan incident

JUNEAU -- Military officials say a 36-year-old airman from Juneau has died in Afghanistan.

Tech. Sgt. Leslie D. Williams died Tuesday in connection with what officials are calling a noncombat related incident at Bagram Airfield. More information was not immediately available.

Williams was based at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. He was assigned to the 4th Maintenance Group.
