The ECHL today issued a slew of suspensions and fines to members of the Bakersfield Condors and Alaska Aces after the minor-league hockey teams engaged in several fights at the end of Alaska's 5-4 victory Friday night at Sullivan Arena.
A total of six Bakersfield players were suspended a combined 18 games, and Condors coach Marty Raymond was suspended for tonight's rematch.
Three Aces players received 11 games worth of suspensions, and coach Brent Thompson was suspended for tonight's rematch.
That adds up to 31 games worth of suspensions -- 19 for the Condors, 12 for the Aces. Every player or coach suspended was also fined an undisclosed amount.
